Adventures in dogsitting, a.k.a let the dog in let the dog out

My poor brother and sis in law have had hard times lately. To make a long story short, they sold their old house, had a new one all lined up, and only had a week layover before they could move in. So they moved into my moms house and we offered to take Helmet the dog here. I figured we already have 3 dogs, whats one more? Well the week layover turned out to be a lot longer than they hoped for! The previous owner of the new house was cleaning behind the fridge and somehow disconnected the water line to the freezer and ended up flooding the whole house! It's really sad for them but we all have really enjoyed having Helmet here, especially me being the animal lover I am, it will be really hard to give him back!! Hes been a good dog! This post is mainly for Helmets parents because I know they miss him and probably wonder what he has been up to, so here is a little bit of the good times I have captured:)

Laundry Basket!

Both of our kids like to play in the laundry basket, but this is the first time they got in there together, well I put Jaiden in there while I was folding her clothes, and I turn around and Jett was in there too! They are just starting to play together, and they play really well together! They are so cute and so much fun!! I love watching them interact, it is one of the best things in life!!:)

Jon and Jett's camping trip

Jon had his yearly week vacation last week and he really wanted to take Jett camping, just the two of them. I was really proud of Jon for doing this, he is not a huge camper, he doesn't know a whole lot about it. So for him to go out and do something he doesn't know much about is pretty impressive. They went up to Strawberry and stayed Monday and Tuesday night. Jon did a great job!! Jett LOVES to be outdoors so I know he had a blast. Jaide and I stayed home so I don't really know the details of the boys only camping trip:) But here are the pictures and some self explanatory video!! Jon must have enjoyed it because he and Jett were only home for one day, then they were back up the mountain to Max and my mom's ranch. Jaiden and I enjoyed the break but sure missed those boys!!! I am thinking next year will be a little bit easier for all four of us to go, it's hard with a baby, but I am happy the boys got to go. I can tell they bonded quite a bit:)

This kid is obsessed with mice, don't ask me why...?? He asked me about a million times if I packed his mouse:)

I am so happy for Josh and Natalie!! They are an awesome couple, perfect for each other! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Jensen!!:) We are thrilled to have such a great addition to our family, what more could we ask for? I still cannot believe that Josh is old enough to get married..crazy!!! What a beautiful wedding, thanks again for having Jett be the ring bearer, we had a lot of fun!!! One of the funnest nights in my life!:) Congrats again you two, I love you guys!
