Good Health, 1 of my many blessings!
After the last few days I have experienced, I just want to express how thankful I am for my health! I know I take it for granted at times. Just to have the ability and strength to pick up my own child back is the best!
Last week I came down with Jaidens cold and then was crazy busy non stop for the next few days following the cold, well eventually that cold went into my lungs and turned into bronchitis. I was bed ridden for two days and yesterday was the first day I was able to get around! My poor husband has been the biggest help(as usual), he even had to miss a day of work to help me! It is very unusual for him to miss work, he has only missed now 2 days in the whole 7 years we have been together to help me when I was sick. And also THANK YOU KANDIS for getting me into the doctor! That shot saved me, I swear! And thanks for helping with Jett, it took a big load off of me :)
As I was laying in bed sick I kept thinking just how grateful I really am for my health. God has given me a great gift of good health and I am truly so thankful for it! It is so hard to be sick, especially when you are a busy mom of two, there is just no time to be sick!! I am so thankful to be on the mend and have the strength back to pick up my daughter and do my "motherly duties"(as dad calls them). I sometimes take for granted small things that good health allow me to do and I wanted to have this written down to go back and read to remind myself just how lucky and how incredibly blessed I am!

Jett is 4!
I cannot believe I have a four year old already...it seems like I just gave birth to this handsome guy. Time is flying by!! I am so proud of my son and love him SO much. Jett is a huge Spiderman fan, as you may already know. So Jon and I decided to throw him a Spiderman themed birthday party this year. Jett has been counting down the days to his birthday. We even made a paper link countdown, Jett thought it was so fun to help me cut the paper off as each day passed. He was very patient with this and seemed to understand. Finally his birthday came!!!
The morning of his birthday Poppy and Lisa came over to give Jett a present and hang out. They got him a Rocket ship that launches 900 feet in the air..it's pretty awesome! Jett loves it, he has been asking me for a rocket for a while and now he has one. Thank you Dad and Lisa, and thank you so much for staying and putting it together for us :). After we got it put together we went and launched it. It was really cool!

After Rocket launching 101, we had to say goodbye to dad and Lisa, Jett was pretty bummed out! He wanted them to stay. At about noon on Saturday(Jetts birthday) I was on the verge of dying, I tried to brush this feeling off but it wasn't happening, however, the fun and excitement of Jetts birthday carried on into the evening. Here he is at home opening his presents from Dad, Mom and Jaide.
Off to the Clubhouse we went for the big party!
Poor Jaide trying to walk in her boots :)
Jett's cake that he was in LOVE with.
The pinata, or as Jett calls it, Pinyaya.
Cute Micah!
What are you doing there mother? :)
Here's a handsome little group of boys.
We tried to do a 'spanking machine' and it scared Jett to tears..maybe next year.
Jett had a great birthday, thank you ALL for coming, we love and appreciate you all so much!! And I went to instacare Sunday, turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis, still fighting it hardcore. I am so thankful that my darling husband did all of the planning for this party and most of the work on Jetts birthday, he did a great job as usual. :)
All in all I think Jett had a wonderful birthday! Thank you all, you did too much!!

Jaiden got her ears pierced!
I have been contemplating getting Jaides' ears pierced for a while now. Jon gets home around one on Fridays so yesterday we decided to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks as a family. This was our first time ever taking a child under the age of two to a movie. Jett of course loved it and Jaide did really well also! They both loved it!!! We had a lot of fun. After the movie I threw out the idea of getting Jaidens ears pierced and Jon said, 'lets go do it'. So we did! Poor Jon is probably sick of me contemplating it, he just wanted it over with :) A small example of why I love Jon so dearly..he is my better half and helps me make decisions quicker.
Here is Jett in the stroller...don't ask, I think he was tired :)
All pierced!! yes I left out the screaming pictures..poor little girl. She is totally over it and in love with them now, as I knew she would be. What a girlie girl I have on my hands, she is so much fun I love her!

Itty Bitty Basketball!!
Jett had so much fun playing football, when I asked if he wanted to play basketball he said, "well yes, of course". I love going to watch him play, he makes me laugh! When we get to basketball in the morning before we get out of the car Jett says, "mom I don't want to run fast today, I am tiderd(tired)". Or he will say, "mom I don't want to play basketball today". This always makes me laugh because once he is in there he has SO much fun!
Jett is a very easy going, good boy for the most part. He listens and takes direction very well from the 'coach'. I am very very proud of my ALMOST four year old. At Jetts last basketball game Uncle Josh(aka Jetts idol in life) came to watch Jett play, once Jett spotted Josh there was no more playing basketball or focusing on anything but waving to Josh for the next five minutes straight. All the kids were running around Jett while he stood waving at Josh. Haha Jett was so excited to see him! He was also excited to see Grandma and Jake! It means a lot to Jett when his family comes to watch him. He plays Tuesdays/Thursdays from 10:45 to 11:45 at the Lehi Legacy Center if you would like to come watch!
Also I am excited my friend Aisha signed up her little boy Kaluna for the same class as Jett! I have missed talking to her and Kaluna is a doll! Talk about a little boy with a lot of personality! You guys need to move out here Aish ;).
I need to get more pictures and video but here is a little bit..
P.S. (this is more for the grandparents) Jett is all signed up for Learning Dynamics Preschool in the fall. Can you believe your first grandchild is old enough for preschool?!

Jett did make two baskets in this game!! He ran behind the basket to avoid all the kids, but hey he scored the points! :)

American Fork Canyon
I love living so close to the mountains! Especially when you can just drive a few miles and get out of the smog/inversion crap! We decided to head up American Fork Canyon so Jon could check out the sled hill that Adrianne and I went to last weekend. Here is some of our venture in video and pictures...

The Jazz Game!!
Jon and I don't usually get each other gifts for Christmas so this year we decided to go on a date!! It was so much fun! My mom offered to watch our kids. We went to the Jazz game and Snowboarding the next day. It's nice to be alone just the two of us! We miss our kids when they are not with us though. Thanks Josh and Natalie for coming along and Thanks so much to mom for watching our kids!
We ate at Happy Sumo before the Jazz game...mmmmm!! Yum! :)
