Camp Spot

Ever since I took Jon up to The Ranch for his first time, over 7 years ago, he has always wanted his own camp spot up there. His wish came true and we are now members and have our own camp spot to park the camper all summer! It's gonna be so nice to just leave what we need up there and only have to worry about bringing food and some clothes. Last weekend we went up and stayed at our spot for the first time! It was a lot of fun! We missed Grandma C. and Grandpa Max but we also had the whole mountain pretty much to ourselves!! Grandmas camp spot is close to ours, Jett and I counted about 60 steps to make it to Grandmas.

Saturday night was so HOT we didn't need a fire or anything, barley needed a jacket.

Jett slept on the top bunk bed in the camper for the FIRST time! Every single move he made I was awake and paranoid like no other that he was falling off, but he didn't! And he thought he was pretty dang cool to be able to sleep up there! He loved it.

Jon got the camera out a little too early..

Look at these patient kids, waiting so nicely for their lunch.

Camping just wears the dogs(and the kids for that matter) RIGHT OUT!! Especially after we made Josie run a good ten miles behind us on the four wheeler..haha she loves it. We ran into a huge herd of sheep on our four wheeler venture, the kids and Josie thought they had died and gone to heaven!! The kids couldn't believe all the sheep, and Josie is a sheepdog(border collie/lab mix) so we got to see that side of her..maybe its in a border collies blood, I don't know, but she was just a herding those sheep! I of course opted to leave the camera on the picnic table back at camp:(. I would love to have the sheep experience on video. Maybe next time.

Hanging out. Oh look at those nice camp chairs being put to use! They are super nice chairs!

It was a pretty successful trip. Only two wood ticks(of course both on me), three major meltdowns(of course none by me ha:)), and a couple leg scrapes(all on Jett, he had to pick up every stick around) otherwise just fun!!
We are looking forward to many more fun times camping this season! Can't wait! It is fun to be able to take my kids to a place that I went when I was a kid and teach them about the animals and open land, now if only I still lived in Idaho so they could get the full effect haha JK. It is a pretty awesome place to go!!

Cowabunga Bay

Yesterday afternoon we went to Cowabunga Bay! Jon and Jett went last summer but this was Jaide and mines first time. We had SO much fun! I like that place because its not huge and you can see your kids pretty much where ever they go in the park. Here are a few of our pictures from the day...

This picture is so cute, I wish it wasn't blurry :(

Jaiden was mostly concerned with what shoes or clothes she could try on, silly girl.

Jett was so proud of himself because he got to go on the slides all by himself!

I know everyone says this about their own but....

...I have the CUTEST kids! :) (all my blog readers kids I must say though are pretty dang cute too!)

I love this picture. Jett wanted to have a camp out with Jaide on the floor and watch a movie. We just got back from swimming and I was hustling to get dinner going. So Jett went and got all of Jaides and his blankets brought them out and turned on Toy Story 2(with a little help from me). So helpful though!

Little Miss model..posing for the camera.

The other day I went to open the washer and one of my little dolls left their beach ball in there..made me laugh!
They are so darn cute and Jon and I just adore and love them to pieces!! They are both at such fun ages, I am loving life right now as a full time mom!

The Garden....

..is coming a long quite nicely!! We have eaten one tomato..YUM!! My corn, peas, beans, okra, summer squash, radishes, cucumbers and onions have all sprouted and are growing great! Carrots, peppers and parsley are moving slower than the others..I am not too worried though :) The BEST part is I have not pulled a single weed!! Not one yet!

The tomatoes ended up in a "Topsy Turvey" instead of the SFG box because I planted them in there before Jon agreed to make me the box!! But they are growing great too.

I can't wait to start eating the benefits of having a garden! But I think my favorite part has been teaching Jett about a garden, watching him learn and his excitement about it! He helped me plant it and he is beside himself that stuff has grown from those 'Tiny Seeds'. We watched our first tomato turn red for a few days and when we could finally eat it, we split it into thirds for Jett, Jaide and I(Jon doesn't eat a lot of veggies). Jett was so excited to eat it! I can't wait til we can eat some more :)

OLD SCHOOL!!

I found this picture(and many others of my brothers, dad, and I) in the basement awhile ago. I have been meaning to post this one for a LONG time but I couldn't upload the format the picture was in from my moms scanner to my blog. So finally I just took a picture of this picture with my camera..haha well it worked good enough :)

This is my little brother Josh on the left, me in the middle and my Best friend back in the day Stacy! She and I were inseparable and I still to this day am grateful for her friendship!! Josh liked to hang out with us too! Jaiden and Jett often remind me of Josh and I playing together as kids, my mom says Jett reminds her of Jesse...anyway.. When we moved from Idaho to Utah it was really really hard! In Idaho people are much friendlier, it's not 'clicky' at all, and there is less judgement if you don't go to church...its a different world down here and kinda sad, but thank you Stacy and your whole family ,for always being such great neighbors and friends!!! My mom and I talk about how great you guys always were to us!! But back to the picture, I remember being super jealous of Stacy's outfit! I think it was the first day of 1st grade maybe or second grade...?? I can't believe Josh's blonde hair, crazy!!
Haha there's our cute green and yellow outfits!! Too bad I couldn't find a pair of socks that weren't pink. Stacy, your mom wrote on the back of this picture 6 years old..I can recognize your moms handwriting anywhere :)

I do remember that red dress, I always wore it! How old do you think we were here? I am guessing four..it's weird now I have a four year old! Time flies! We had so much fun on that tramp! Sprinkler under it, jumping off the roof and the deck on to it, learning how to do all the tricks on it. Good times.

31

June 12Th has already rolled around again and Jon is now 31!! He got off work at one on Saturday and the party started! My mom, Jon's mom and I went in on some chairs for him for our camp spot this year. He was WAY excited about the chairs! The kids and I got him a GPS system for his car and the movie Avatar.

Then after we all took a nap, we got ready to go to dinner. Jon wanted to go to the Sushi House so of course that is where we went. We had fun!

After we were full and had to be rolled out of the restaurant, we headed to Kohl's for some shopping. Jon loves to shop! I hate it! Kohl's is a fun store though, I just watched the kids so Jon could do some shopping.

Then we headed home for some birthday cake. Jett was dying all day to eat cake, he also kept asking me, "mom, is it my birthday too?". So funny!

Yay he finally got his cake! :) We had so much fun on Jon's birthday!! We just love him SO much!!

Tiny Pool

I know what you are thinking, don't you have a community pool in your neighborhood? Yes we do, but sometimes it gets SO OVERLY CROWDED!! So there are times we opt to play in the backyard on hot days. Jett and Jaiden have a ball playing in the "Tiny Pool" as Jett calls it, there are times they would rather play in this pool or jump on the tramp with the sprinkler under it. Works for me!

Little Miss Laundry

Jaide loves clothes and shoes! Anything that has to do with clothes or shoes will keep her entertained for HOURS!!! The other day I was trying to get to the kids laundry so I left their basket out to remind myself. As I was cooking dinner Jaiden was working on the laundry for me. She put the clothes in and out about a million times, it was so cute and it kept her entertained long enough for me to get dinner on the table and a few other things done! Why didn't I think of this before?

And this picture is just SO cute. Had to add it :)

Our New Car...

...for a little bit anyways...until my beloved pilot gets fixed! :) I keep telling Jon, well if I get in an accident I will just blame it on the stuck gas pedal, it's a Toyota Camry after all. Hahahaha just kidding!! Even my dad said so and he has one :) It's a pretty nice car actually! I have enjoyed driving and hot roding it around so far, although I do miss my Pilot. I like being higher up and having more room. But if you are looking for a car to cruise around in I would recommend it! It is a pretty dang nice car!! And if I was going to buy a "car" the Camry would definitley be in the running!!
