Splash Park

My poor sister in law has so much patience, shes always trying to get me to go do stuff. She never gives up, I love it! We FINALLY made it to the Splash Park out by her house. It was SO much fun! Jake and Jett play so cute together, it was hard to keep an eye on them they are running around so fast.

I of course left both my sim cards at home so I was only able to get four pictures :(. Here they are:

Austin is the cutest baby ever! I just wanted to hold him the whole time. He is so SWEET! He didn't make a peep! I heard him laugh and that was about it. Good Baby and as cute as they come.

Jaiden liked the water here and there. She mostly hung out with A, Austin and I. She eventually worked her way over to Austins clothes and Adriannes bag to go threw and try on...sorry about that...

Cute Boys! They sure love each other a lot!

Look at this cute group under the nice shade tree! One of the best splash parks I have ever seen(not that I have seen a lot). Thanks again A! We had FUN!

Peanut Butter Playdough

A couple days ago Jett, Jaiden and I made Peanut Butter Playdough. The kids LOVED it because they could eat as they played. I LOVED it because I didn't have to worry about Jaiden eating non edible playdough!
Would I wake up this....

To go get this....

You bet I would!!

We finally decided to break down and buy a new couch. It was a great price at Costco plus we had a cash card, so we got this couch for about $400...not too bad. My cute little brother Josh and his wife Natalie were nice enough to help me move out the old ones and pick up the new ones(we needed his truck, the boxes this couch came in were HUGE!!). Josh took the old couches to DI and got DENIED! It's pretty sad when DI doesn't even want your couches, I guess they were pretty bad. Then we met them at Costco. I had to wake up Jaide, which I hate doing but it was totally worth it!! The couch is super nice! Thanks for your help Josh and Nat! :)

Jetts Fish

They built a pond up at The Ranch and planted some rainbow trout in it. We went up there this weekend and brought Jetts fishing pole and some worms. We were pretty successful, caught about four fish in 30 minutes! It was fun, the excitement on Jetts face after he reeled in a fish was the best!! So cute!

Its about a seven mile drive on the four wheelers one way down to the fish pond. Jaiden did good on the four-wheeler that long, I think she loved it!

Finally we made it to the pond(seven miles takes a long time on a four wheeler).

Jett is a natural at fishing, it must be in his blood. He can cast it out there like it's nobody's business. Jon helped him know when it was time to jerk and reel in.

Jaiden sat on the log, watched, waited and was just cute :)

Jett would get so excited when he caught a fish, it was so fun to watch him!

That is the biggest one we caught, pretty good sized.

Hot Chicken Noodle Soup

Jett loves when I make stroganoff or homemade chicken noodle soup. He has been asking me to make chicken noodle soup for a couple weeks but I just cant bring myself to do it in this heat! So he decided he would make it himself... the other day he came and told me he made dinner tonight, "hot chicken noodle soup" and wanted me to come see it. Here is his masterpiece dinner....

Looks so yummy right?! :)

I thought it was so cute that he was pretending to cook!
He did have one taker...Josie :)
(p.s. I did end up making the soup, how could I not after this!)

Our New Car.....(for real this time)

Jon has been dying to get me a new car. I kept thinking he is crazy, I have a new car. I wanted to pay off my old one so he could buy himself a new car, it's his turn and he deserves it!! But he is just too sweet and says nope I want my wife and kids in a safe car. Now I thought my old car was new and nice but wow this car has EVERYTHING! I didn't really know he was gonna buy it last night, me and Jaiden stayed home and he took Jett to the dealership with him. When he called abt 9 or so I knew he was buying it. Finally he got home at 11:35(right after The Hills :)) and I got to see it. I love it and I am SO happy it's white!! I struggled keeping my black one as clean as I like(I do love black cars though, they are pretty), and Jon knew I wanted white from the start(what can I say I come from a white car buying family). So here is our new beauty:

This car has everything! I can't get over it. It's the touring edition. Jon also got them to throw in some white running boards that get installed on Friday! So excited. Some of it's many features include:

  • Driving memory position.
  • Glass hatch release button/tailgate
  • bluetooth handsfree link system
  • voice control buttons
  • iPod connection
  • rear entertainment system
  • XM radio
  • USB flash memory player
  • parking sensor system
  • rearview camera and monitor
  • Homelink
  • Compass
  • Cargo Net
  • Trays under the seats
  • Intergrated sunshades(they are cool)
  • Seat Heaters(don't those sound appetizing right now?)
  • GPS navigation system

It's a luxurious nice car! Jon spoils me way too much! This is my first car ever that started out with zero miles on it, Jon and I were both so excited we couldn't sleep last night! I still feel bad and wish he would've bought himself a new one but...I am not gonna say no thanks to mine :) Thanks babes! You are the best!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM WE LOVE YOU!!!

Happy Fourth of July!

We had such a great fourth of July weekend! I love that it was celebrated so many days this weekend..haha! Usually we have a big backyard shindig because we can see Thanksgiving Points firework show from our yard. This year we opted not to have the shindig and keep it simple with the four of us. I was kind of relieved because it's a TON of work for me when we have people over...either way though we always have fun and this year was no exception!

Friday afternoon we went and saw Toy Story 3, that was SO much fun!! Great movie!

Saturday Jon had to work but got off at five and we started our little backyard BBQ. Here is Jaide in her cute patriotic outfit:

The boys got out the horseshoe game and a few little fireworks:
While I cooked:

When it FINALLY got dark, Jon hurry and got the kids in the bath while I made us a spectator bed on the tramp then we waited for 10 pm to roll around so the show could start!

Then they finally started..yay!

Jon has been wanting to go to Bridal Veil since I went there without him :) So Sunday we decided to head up there for a fourth of July picnic lunch. It was a perfect day weather wise for exercise! Beautiful day!

Then Sunday afternoon when we got home we decided to pull out the slip n'slide! :

See, a great weekend!!:) We are so thankful to be Americans and live in this beautiful land that we love!! God Bless America!

Provo Canyon Trail

Last week the kids and I made a lunch and headed to ride on the Provo Canyon trail. My bike and the trek trailer wouldn't fit in the Pilot so I walked(actually I RAN to keep up with Jett) with the jogging stroller and little miss thing. Next time I am taking my Rollerblades! Jett is super awesome on his bike...I think its time to take off the training wheels!

Jaiden fell asleep, on the cooler, poor thing!

Jett reminded me of my dad all day that day. He looked just like him!

C'mon kids get close for a picture...

Okay I guess that will have to be close enough! :)

We had a ton of fun up there! It was still pretty hot but it wasn't crowded AT ALL!! I loved it! We could've stayed all day. I can't wait to go back with my Rollerblades and maybe Josie.
