A very Thankful Thanksgiving :)

This year we headed to my dad and Lisa's house in Idaho for Thanksgiving. It was SO much fun!! One of my favorite Thanksgivings to date. Dad and Lisa cooked a great Thanksgiving dinner. Actually they did all the cooking and cleaning up the entire time we were there, oh man it was a nice break!! When we got home I told Jon I want to go back to dad and Lisa's! Ha ha. It was fun to be able to spend five days with them, we all had a great time!
There are so many things I am thankful for! I am so thankful for my husband, he is more than I could ever ask for or imagine a husband could be!! His patience and will to not talk badly about others never ceases to amaze me.
I am so thankful for my kids, they are the exact two kids I wanted and more!! They bring so many emotions into my life, some I never even knew I had!! Most of them good :)
I am so thankful to be a stay at home mom, there is nowhere else in the world I would rather be right now! There is a lot of days I would kill to be somewhere else..haha..but I don't want to take for granted the fact that I am able to stay home with them. It was my dream as a child to be a mom, and a stay at home mom :) I am so thankful that I don't have to work outside the home right now.
I am so thankful for the roof over my head!
I am so thankful for my family and Jons family! How nice that we have so many who love us and we love them. And very thankful for my parents and step parents.
I am so thankful for the good friendships I have! I don't take them for granted as I know it is hard to find true friends.
And last but not least for this short list of my many blessings, I am thankful for my good health! And for my kids' good health!!
Hope everyone had a happy and thankful Thanksgiving! :)

Family Pictures

I am so lucky to have sister in laws that are willing to take my family pictures..don't you think?! I do! Last year Adrianne took them and this year Natalie took them! They turned out SO good! I love them, thank you SO much Natalie!! I can't thank you enough! I hope you don't mind that I stole these pictures off your blog....

This is my little brother Josh, Natalie is his adorable wife. I just thought this pic was SO good! So I posted it :) Plus Josh is Jetts idol in life, he just loves him!!

Too bad I can't look somewhat normal in pictures..haha oh well, my cute husband and kids make up for it! :)

Jaide wasn't in the best mood. It was rough because we all met up at Grandma's and then we made the kids leave Grandmas house to go take the pictures...it's so hard for grandkids to leave their grandmas house...especially to go take pictures! But luckily they got to go back to Grandmas after and have a sleepover with cousin Jake! Next time however I don't think we will meet at Grandmas haha.

When Jett got in front of the camera by himself he was Mr. Pose!! I will have to get my pictures from Natalie and post more! It was pretty cute.

Thanks again Natalie..and Josh..for being troopers and taking time out of your day for us!! We appreciate it so much! Thanks for listening to the alphabet song a million times, Jaiden crying and picking Jett up from school! Today he asked me if you and Josh are gonna pick him up again! haha we all just love you guys! :)

Little Ms. Potty Train

Jaiden has decided to potty train. I haven't forced the issue at all, in fact I just bought a huge box of diapers from Costco...UGH, so I guess maybe it is just ME who is not ready for it! But she insists on going in the potty and on this particular day she went poop in the potty! I was so proud of her and thought well I might as well roll with it if she is this willing to do it! Wish us luck :)

This pic is so cute, had to post it! She is very in to playing with baby dolls lately. This one reminded me of a tired new mom. Haha. Falling asleep on the couch!

Bunco Party!

Jon and I hosted our annual family Halloween Bunco party at our house this year. I didn't get very good pictures because I was busy cooking, cleaning and hosting! By the time I had time to get my camera out most of our guests had gone home, so I only got pics of Josh & Nat, and Kandis(Jons mom) & her kids. So here they are:

Thank you ALL for coming, I think everyone had a good time! :)

Trick or Treating!

This was the first year we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood! We are usually at a Bunco party or one of our parents house. Jon and I hosted the Bunco party at our house the weekend before Halloween so we decided to go in our neighborhood this year! It was a success, other than the rain, the kids made a haul. I stayed home and passed out candy, Jon, Jett and Jaiden braved the weather and went to quite a few houses. The kids had so much fun!

Jaiden loves Spiderman, hmmm I have no clue why?! So she was Spidergirl this year, Jon wore his Fred Flintstone costume and Jett was Ironman!

Off they went to brave the rain, thank goodness for my rainfly on my stroller! Came in handy!

When they came home they told me all about it and then Jett wanted to help hand out candy! This was his favorite part of the night I think, he loved it! He would talk all the trick or treaters ears off, it was pretty cute!

Jaidens candy! She was so happy to have her very own bag of candy! :)

I had to post these two pics because they are SO Jaide. She is normally a very good girl! Fun, cute, listens well, good eater etc. and so on...but there are times she pulls some drama and I think it is so cute! Her faces she can pull make me giggle! Usually if I laugh though she gets more upset, so I just laugh on the inside and try to comfort her and take her problems as seriously as she does.

Jett's Halloween party at school.....

...or should I say IronMans party. Jett was SO excited for his party at preschool! He had a lot of fun and came home with tons of candy! Jon picked him up from school that day, Jaide and I were out front doing some yard work when they got home. Jett jumped out of the car, ran over to me and dumped out ALL his candy! haha I thought it was so cute! I love seeing his excitement, Jaiden was pretty excited about it too :)

Remember how I told you Jett calls his teacher Mrs. White, Mrs. Snow White? Well she decided to dress up as Snow White this year just because Jett calls her that! I love it! And Jett was pretty excited because his friend Kamillo was Ironman as well. Jon and Kamillos dad John are pretty good friends, and now Jett and Kamillo seem to be buddy's! Kinda cool that they not only go to the same school but are in the same class, we didn't plan it out or anything!

Pumpkin Carving

This year we decided to go with a dog theme on our pumpkins. Jon carved Josie, I did Journey, Jett did Jynx's paw and Jaiden did a smiley face...I think that's what it was ;)

Journey

Josie

Dog Paw

Jaidens smiley face

Jon got the patterns off the Internet. We taped them on the pumpkins and carved away! It was so easy that Jett even did his paw all by himself! I wished I would've got some pics of us carving, oh well, better luck next year!
