Humane Society

This year we decided to donate to the Humane Society. I gathered up as many blankets as possible, asked all of my family members and had Jon ask people at the gym. We ended up with close to 100 blankets for the poor little homeless animals. Thank you SO much for the donations!! I appreciate it, and I am sure the animals do too! :)

I did not think I would be able to go into the Humane Society, in fear of crying my eyes out and/or adopting a few animals. So I told Jon to go in and deliver the blankets. He came back out to the car and told me I should come in and see all the donations they have gotten so far. He also told me it is not too bad of a place. So I contemplated for about 10 minutes and decided to go in and check it out. I could not believe all the donations they had!! Made me so happy!! I only saw the animals that they had out in the lobby..which were baby kittens..so I did not cry, until Jon made me go and see the cats. Oh my I lost it!! I felt like every cat was looking at me like please adopt me!! Broke my heart! I am still so glad I didn't go in where they keep the dogs. But all in all I am thankful for the Humane Society! I think they do good things there as I had a peaceful feeling when I left. I know they make an effort to adopt out every animal so they don't have to euthanize any! So please if you are in the market for an animal, consider adopting!! There are so many that need a good home. :)

We thought about getting this cat. I just don't think Josie would be nice to it. It was a cute kitten though!
