Happy Fourth of July!

We had such a great fourth of July weekend! I love that it was celebrated so many days this weekend..haha! Usually we have a big backyard shindig because we can see Thanksgiving Points firework show from our yard. This year we opted not to have the shindig and keep it simple with the four of us. I was kind of relieved because it's a TON of work for me when we have people over...either way though we always have fun and this year was no exception!

Friday afternoon we went and saw Toy Story 3, that was SO much fun!! Great movie!

Saturday Jon had to work but got off at five and we started our little backyard BBQ. Here is Jaide in her cute patriotic outfit:

The boys got out the horseshoe game and a few little fireworks:
While I cooked:

When it FINALLY got dark, Jon hurry and got the kids in the bath while I made us a spectator bed on the tramp then we waited for 10 pm to roll around so the show could start!

Then they finally started..yay!

Jon has been wanting to go to Bridal Veil since I went there without him :) So Sunday we decided to head up there for a fourth of July picnic lunch. It was a perfect day weather wise for exercise! Beautiful day!

Then Sunday afternoon when we got home we decided to pull out the slip n'slide! :

See, a great weekend!!:) We are so thankful to be Americans and live in this beautiful land that we love!! God Bless America!

That looks like such a fun weekend. I wanted to see the 4th of July Ham!!! haha! What a great place to watch the fireworks, that would be so relaxing!

I love bridal vail. Did you know we have the same roller blades, mine are just the dark blue. (my fitness ones...not my hockey ones) Awesome family adventure. Jon almost took up the whole slip n slide, he is such a "big kid"

What a blast! I think it's great that you still rollerblade. It makes me want to do it again... I can't remember when the last time I went rollerblading was.
I love the picture of Jon on the slippin' slide! I bet Jett loved having his dad do it with him. :)
